Overview

VOX Global, a bipartisan strategic communications firm, is accepting applications for a fellowship with their creative team. This position will be virtual to start with the option to be based in our D.C. headquarters once local law and company policy allow.

 

Qualified applicants will be college graduates with the necessary skills to assist our team with digital advertising, graphic design, motion graphics, UX/UI design, branding and public relations that leverages industry-leading techniques and creative ideas.The fellowship is a paid, full-time position that will start as soon as possible and run through August 31, 2021. Fellows can expect to work closely with the Creative Team and in tandem with the Digital & Advertising Team on a variety of projects for clients in a diverse range of industries. They will refine their design skills and learn about graphic design, motion media and web development in a fast-paced environment. Fellows are given opportunities to develop unique projects that stand out in their portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated (within the past year) from an undergraduate or graduate institution
  • Passion to create innovative designs for web and print campaigns
  • Strong fundamental design skills as demonstrated through your portfolio
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite for digital and print design (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop — anything else is a perk!)
  • Excellent research, analytical and software skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Interest in emerging web and digital technologies

You’ll stand out from other applicants if you have:

  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), especially WordPress a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
  • Experience with animation or motion graphic design a plus
  • Skill using social media platforms for professional uses (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blogging, etc.) a plus
